HERE ARE SOME FRENCH INITIATIVES  THAT ARE WORTH LOOKING INTO:

  • “Génération Climat” is a French program that accompanies young people towards the creation of initiatives for climate and solidarity, in France and internationally. It promotes initiatives led by young people living in France that link climate and solidarity. This ranges from awareness-raising actions, such as fun events or documentaries, to field projects.   • The Junior association is an initiative of young people wishing to change behavior and act for the planet. It undertakes actions aiming at a maximum limitation of our ecological footprint, but also aiming to raise awareness through information to the public of the ecological stakes and the good practices.   • The French Collective for Environmental Education for Sustainable Development is a collective of 16 organization that aims to jointly develop reflections, actions and political orientations aimed at developing Environmental Education for Sustainable Development.   •  The Student Network for an Ecological and United Society is a network of more than 150 student associations. The collective leads projects related to ecological and solidarity issues such as food, biodiversity, climate, waste, etc. Their goal is to have 100% of students trained and committed to ecological and solidarity issues, climate and biodiversity, and 100% of university campuses sustainable and committed to the ecological transition in their governance and operations.   • Connaitre et protéger la nature (Know and Protect Nature), a collective of parents, teachers, animators that with its playful approach is centered around the awareness of children to nature. The children learn about nature while having fun, they learn about the link that unites us to nature, and they take concrete actions to protect it.
