Sustainability Habits for 2024

Greetings and Happy New Year!
It’s that time again. While many of us focus on personal health and well-being in our annual resolutions, it’s also an opportune time to consider our impact on the planet. We often focus on personal health goals, like hitting the gym or eating better, but what about goals that benefit our Earth?

The start of a year is a perfect checkpoint to ask ourselves: Are the goals we’re aiming for also helping the planet? It can feel overwhelming to talk about climate change, especially with friends and family who might not share the same views. But let’s keep it simple, small changes can add up.

Here are a couple of easy, sustainable habits to consider for a greener 2024:

– Reusable Bags: You might already do this, but it’s a game-changer. Taking reusable bags when grocery shopping cuts down on plastic waste. I keep some in my car so I never forget them.

– Walk More: If it’s not too far, consider walking instead of driving. It’s not only good for the environment but also a nice way to sneak in some extra steps.

Setting sustainability goals for the year ahead is a proactive way to contribute to a healthier planet. What are your sustainability goals for 2024? Share them below and inspire others to make a difference!
